The Perfect LA Getaway - Los Angeles, CA

We stayed...

We stayed at the Hotel Angeleno near Westwood and Bel Air. The outside structure of the building reminded me of the movie Dredd (if you don't know what I'm talking about, Google it!), however, the inside of the building is so cool! We were booked in room 1408 which was kind of freaky (if you don't know that movie Google it as well lol), but as soon as we got inside the room we fell in love! The view from our room was so sick. You couldn't hear any traffic zooming by unless you opened the door. Once we got settled into the room, we decided to check the rest of the hotel out. They have a dining room/bar on level 17, which I believe is the highest level of the hotel. We were in absolute awe over the decor. The dining room was so elegant and the view from that level was breathtaking. We enjoyed the drinks and food so much we decided that we were going to spend dinner at the hotel.

We ate...

Saturday: We ate at the hotel's restaurant called West. I can't say enough good things about the restaurant and our experience there. Our waiter was super attentive, very professional, and great with recommendations. Bread with a tomato salad and butter were provided as an appetizer, we ordered caesar salads and our main dishes paired with the best tasting wine.

Sunday: After exploring around BH for a few hours, we decided to stop at Via Alloro for some pizza and drinks. To be completely honest the place was mediocre at best. The food was great, however, the servers were extremely rude & even rude to each other to the point it was a little uncomfortable to be around... but that didn't kill my vibe ;)

We drank...

This trip was great because most trips Niall & I take together consist of drunk escapades and non-stop food comas, but instead we focused on just enjoying the scenery, the libations, the coffee - all the coffee - great food and just each other (if we gave off the impression we got super boozed, we were only doing it for the gram :P lol)
